Welcome to the Success Academy at Urban Success University
We now offer the newly introduced Urban Success University Success Academy Curriculum, approved by Chairman Kingjerlo Robinson of the Urban Success Foundation Board. Our curriculum has been designed to empower and educate students, teachers, and facilitators on the principles of success.

Our History
The Success Academy was first developed by Kingjerlo Robinson in 2003, in collaboration with the Urban Success Foundation and The Success Foundation, with a vision to impact over 10 million youth. Kingjerlo Robinson, mentored by Rev. Dr. Congressman William Gray III, the Chairman of the Urban Success Foundation and a lifelong mentor, created the Success for Teens book, program, and national implementation. Since its release in 2005, the curriculum has reached over 5 million students across 50 different school districts.
However, due to the actions of the Donald Trump administration and Betsy DeVos, the Success Foundation was purchased and shut down in 2018, leaving urban schools and communities without the necessary resources. In response to this, Kingjerlo Robinson, also known as Dean KJ, the co-founder of The Y.O.K.I.S. (Young Organization of Kings Internationally Serving) and Dean of Urban Success University, has revived the curriculum and transformed it into the Success Academy.

Our Success Academy Curriculum is designed as a comprehensive guide, converting each chapter of the Success for Teens book into course modules and each point per chapter into individual lessons.
